Q. How can I get the most from my visit?
 1. GIVE INFORMATION. DON'T WAIT TO BE ASKED! Tell your provider what you think he or she needs to know. Be honest and accurate, even if you think it's embarrassing or uncomfortable.

2. BRING AN UPDATED "HEALTH HISTORY" LIST WITH YOU. This includes lists of all medications and herbal products you are currently on. Make your provider aware of any allergies or reactions you have had to your medicines. Also, it's helpful to write down your questions and concerns for the visit.

3. GET INFORMATION. Ask questions. Take notes. Be sure to let your provider know if you don't understand something.

4. FOLLOW UP. Call us if you have questions. If your symptoms get worse, call us. If you had tests and do not hear from our office, call for your test results. Follow the directions your provider gives you - make follow-up appointments, schedule with a specialist, take your medicines, etc...

Following the above will ensure you get the quality of care you desire.
